There are times in life when we are called to show up as our biggest and best selves—experiences where we must travel to the depths of our life force and bring everything we have to the table for a moment, a day, or an extended mission.
These challenges require us to tap into a strength that isn’t always at the surface and readily available in our day-to-day lives. But we are all born powerful, bold, and fearless—we simply have to find it within.
Our voice, our truth, our courage, our confidence, our center point and our healthy boundaries are all aspects of our Inner Warrior. They play a VITAL role in our lives; giving us the strength, discernment and courage to be who we are truly meant to be in the world.
Your Inner Warrior is powerful, potent, discerning, focused and determined. When we harness our warrior energy we’re confident, clear and have the ability to express our truest, most authentic selves in the world.
When we reclaim our warrior energy, we live in love-filled self-acceptance, compassion, and we have the ability to both hear and act on our innermost knowings.
The more you search for happiness in meditation, the less it will come.
We’re programmed to believe something is only working when it feels good. When you’re sitting down to meditate and waiting to get high, that means you’re coming from a place of lack and deficiency.
You must meditate on compassion.
Widen out this energy of meditation into something to do with helping people. Then it starts to change because compassion takes the mediation journey from a self-centered, graspy, addictive type of reality into something that is of service to the world. And then you can simply let go and just do your best. Your meditation is giving you the fuel and energy to be kind. It changes the whole picture from a desperate search for internal happiness into a feeling that happiness is a shared experience because the world is a shared experience. So surely the whole concept of happiness has to be connected to that Oneness, that community.
Luigi Jiménez of Santos & Zurdo has been with Envision Festival since its inception 10 years ago. He manages all the music bookings and communications for the festival in Latin America.
He recalls how much the festival has grown not only in size, but also in impact, over the last 10 years.
“The first Envision was 700 people. Last year, more than 6,000 people attended from all over the world, making Envision one of the most important festivals not only in Costa Rica, but in Latin America and worldwide. No matter where you are in the world, there’s someone who knows about Envision.”
Just like any project of its size, it’s been a learning process for everyone involved—the team, the crew, the family—who have formed to create this change in their community and on our planet.
“It was a journey for sure. There was no road. We made the road when we started walking,” says Luigi, looking back on the process.
“In the beginning, it started as a party. But it has evolved into something that gives you so much more than that. It’s more than an experience. It’s a place for people to come together and share thoughts and ideas of how we can live in a better place and learn from each other and be better people. It’s something really magical that not all festivals have. It gives you the opportunity to learn from the other people that come to contribute to this community. All together, we build an experience that each one of us can carry with us back to our homes.”
Join us on a retreat in Teva Eco Retreat, Manuel Antonio on FEBRUARY 15-17, the weekend before Envision, with the intention to harmonize our mind, body, and spirit before we collectively and intentionally enter the magical experience that is Envision Festival 2020.
Spend an entire weekend immersed in the magic of the jungle, and witness the magic that unfolds when we reconnect to our roots and reclaim our power within.
Wake up to the sunrise and tropical wildlife outside your door.
Practice yoga and meditation to align with your intentions.
Buckle up, fam! Envision Festival is going all the way in this year with a full 7-day experience. This is not to be taken lightly. 7 days of music, yoga, dance, art, high vibe community, workshops, learning, waterfalls, sunsets and sunrises.
In order to fully appreciate and get the best experience out of these magical 7 days, we are providing you with some key tips on how to prepare your mind, body and soul so that you can bring the best YOU to the jungle.
Prepare Your Mind
Going into an event such as this with so many rich opportunities to learn and dive into new experiences, it’s beneficial to make sure you are bringing the right mindset so that you can fully absorb it all. How do I get my mindset in the best place, you might ask? MEDITATION. Commit to a meditation practice every day, even if it’s just for 5-10 minutes a day.
Prepare Your Body
We are going to be dancing until sunrise for a week straight, people. It’s time to start stretching and building our endurance NOW. Eat your greens, stay hydrated, move your body in a way that serves you every day. It’s a marathon, not a race. Pace yourselves.
What is it that’s stopping you from setting yourself free?
Free From:
Unhealthy choices
Low self-esteem
Lack of confidence
Negative people
Negative self-talk
Toxic habits
So, what’s stopping you?
It’s YOU.
YOU are one decision away from making major changes in your life, your mindset, and how you show up for yourself every day.
It all starts with YOU. The way you talk to yourself. The way you care for yourself. The way you are choosing to fuel your body. The boundaries you set.
YOU are in control of your own life. Start taking responsibility for your decisions and your behaviors, and decide today to start showing up for yourself.
Growth and healing come when you decide to push yourself to get uncomfortable. It happens when YOU decide to change, grow, and heal.
Free Your Self. Stop making excuses and holding back from living the life you want so badly. How do you get there? Decide to make the change, and then TAKE THE ACTION.
If you’re ready to stop holding yourself back, and to TAKE ACTION—we’re here for you. That’s what our transformational health program is all about.

What if we told you that you could ditch the diet FOR GOOD, and still get the results you want?
We teach our clients that eating should roll with your life — sometimes it goes smoothly, and other times not so much. There’s no need to try to overcompensate when it goes wrong, because this is normal! Eating mindfully is all about going inward and tuning into your body to listen to what it really needs to feel nourished.
Mindful eating is being able to eat when you are hungry and continue eating until you are satisfied.
Mindful eating is being able to choose food you like and eat it and truly get enough of it – not just stop eating because you think you should.
Mindful eating is being able to use some moderate restraint on your food selection to get the right food, but not being so restrictive that you miss out on pleasurable foods.
Are your limiting beliefs holding you back from reaching your full potential? We work with clients in our program from all different backgrounds.
Some who have been working out for years and others who have never stepped foot into a gym.
Some who have been counting every calorie and others who don’t know how to count calories at all.
Some who want to lose 20 pounds and others who don’t need to lose weight at all.
Some who currently have their dream job and others who aren’t even sure what their goals are.
Some who have the means to invest in themselves but didn’t think they were deserving and others (most of them, really) were on a tight budget and “not in a place” to be spending more money or investing in themselves.
Want to know the simple secret to true health, to a life of fulfillment and joy?
Respect and care for the vehicle through which you experience it.
Taking care of yourself goes far beyond just counting calories and working out in the gym every day. We so often judge health by looks, when in reality someone can look fit on the outside and still be unhealthy on a cellular level.
It doesn’t matter what fitness level you are at right now, it only matters how much you are willing to put into transforming your beliefs and mindset.
True health is the result of consistent physical AND mental habits that create happy cells. It’s a mindset that allows you to open your eyes in the morning with passion, purpose and excitement. You are one decision away from making major changes in your life, your mindset, and how you show up for yourself every day.
Most people have no idea how GOOD their body is designed to feel or the things it’s capable of.
Instead of trying to improve how you feel by only working towards external goals, shift your focus to internal goals. True health starts with YOU. The way you talk to yourself. The way you care for yourself. The way you are choosing to fuel your body. The boundaries you set.
YOU are in control of your own life. Start taking responsibility for your decisions and your behaviors, and decide today to start showing up for yourself.

The entire universe is made of energy, and your body is no exception. Balancing your chakras can help you live a healthy and harmonious life. Blocked energy in our seven chakras can lead to illness, so it’s important to understand what each chakra represents and what we can do to keep energy flowing freely.
Root Chakra is located at the base of the spine in the tailbone area. This chakra’s role is to connect all of your energy with the earth. It is your grounding chakra. When in balance: You will feel a sense of accomplishment and peace when you think of things like money, safety, and shelter. When out of balance: You may experience anxiety and jitteriness. Bring into balance: Connect to the earth.
Meditation is an approach to training your mind that can bring peace and fulfillment to all aspects of your life. Many people don’t know what they should be thinking about when meditating—a common myth is that meditation is all about stopping your thoughts, when it’s actually about learning to step back and observe them. It can be difficult for beginners to sit for an extended amount of time with an “empty mind,” so here are some tips to starting your own mediation practice and how it can benefit your life.
Tips to Starting Your Own Meditation Practice
Start with a guided meditation. Headspace and Insight Timer are both excellent apps with a variety of guided meditations and calming music.
Try meditating for 5-10 minutes a day, and then increase the amount of time slowly but consistently. Example: Increase 2 minutes a day or increase 5 minutes a week.
Close your eyes. This helps reduce distractions and direct your focus inwards.
Find a comfortable seated position where you feel supported and relaxed.
Breathe naturally but focus on each inhale and exhale.
Set an intention for your meditation, whether it’s simply clearing your mind or using a guided meditation on attracting abundance or finding inner peace.
There is no right or wrong time of day to meditate. Don’t worry if you miss your meditation in the morning—just try to fit it in at another time throughout the day, maybe on your lunch break or before bed.
Put your phone in another room, or set it on silent if you’re using a meditation app.
Benefits of Mediation
Less anxiety and stress: Meditation provides an overall better feeling of well-being and connection to yourself and the world.
Better focus: Meditation can help you stay on task longer, switch between tasks less frequently and enjoy your tasks more.
Deeper relaxation and sleep: Guided meditations use sound and visualization to create an atmosphere for healthy, restful sleep.
Remember, life is short. We can live it lost in thought, or we can choose to be present as life unfolds around us.
