TIDE CHART

tide chart Get the TIDE CHART for Puntarenas which is a couple of hours north of Quepos. The tides for Quepos – Manuel Antonio are about 15 minutes earlier than Puntarenas. Also, remember that weather conditions affect tidal ranges and current speeds – sometimes very strongly.


BUS SCHEDULE – QUEPOS AREA

Quepos Bus ScheduleHere are the bus schedules arriving and departing from Quepos for the surrounding area as of June 2010. Schedules change without notice, so it is wise to check times in advance. The Bus terminal is conveniently located in  Quepos beside the Central Market.

Costa Rican Bus Schedule Download the schedule of all buses out of San Jose to anywhere in Costa Rica (including Quepos pg.34), and to Panama, Nicaragua, El Salvadore, Honduras, Guatamala, and Mexico. (Requires Adobe Reader.)

NOTE: The Quepos – San Jose Bus no longer arrives at or departs from Terminal Coca Cola. It now uses Terminal Tracopa on Calle 5 between Avenidas 16 & 18.


REGIONAL AIR SCHEDULES

sansa nature airCosta Rica has 2 regional airlines that fly out of Quepos. SANSA flies to & from Juan Santamaria airport in San Jose. Nature Air flies to & from Tobias Bolaños International Airport in Pavas, 4 miles from San Jose & 9 miles from Juan Santamaria. The flight takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately $75. Due to unpredictable weather conditions, flights into & out of  Quepos may be canceled or delayed without notice. So if you have a connecting flight out of San Jose, it’s best to go the day before.

TRAVELERS AID PROGRAM

News_Release_Travelers_AidLa Mansion Inn in Manuel Antonio has launched a Travelers Aid program with the cooperation of the local Chamber of Commerce, Municipality of the Canton de Aguirre, and the local heads of the Tourism Police, Fuerza Publica, and O.I.J. The program will assist stranded travelers in need of emergency shelter, food, and communication with their respective embassies and family in their home country.
