BRIGHT LIGHTS BOAT PARADE: FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9th
The third annual Bright Lights boat parade promises to be bigger and better than ever this year. This year’s event is going to include the traditional boat parade, circus performers, fireworks display and a lot of fun with our expanded commercial plaza and a chance for everyone to celebrate the start of our holiday season. Charters are available so that you can enjoy the event FROM THE WATER and be a part of the action. Reach out to the team at iFish Quepos for details on a private or shared charter boat or to sponsor and decorate a boat.
QUEPOS TRIATHALON: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11th
The year’s final leg of the BMW Triathlon circuit has become the most popular, competitive and celebrated event of the year and we will again be hosting the finish line at Marina Pez Vela. This is a tremendous event and its impact on the community as a driver of tourism during the time before Christmas, as well as its ability to inspire our local populace, young and old, about the importance of health and fitness is worth supporting and celebrating. It starts early so make sure to come out and support our local athletes and community as a host…breakfast at the Marina will get you a great spot to cheer on friends or simply marvel at the amazing individuals who push themselves to the limit either to try to win… or for many, just finishing will bring a flood of tears as to what a bit of sacrifice can help you accomplish.
NEW YEAR’S EVE FIREWORKS: SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31st
Tough to talk up what is always the biggest party of the year regardless of where you are, but that has never stopped us before and this year we are really going to make the last day of 2016 a special one! All of our restaurants and the soon to open new Doublehook Sports Bar and Grill are going to have specials events and will be taking reservations for the evening’s activities. This year BOTH the Marina and Downtown will have a midnight fireworks show, making for a coordinated megashow for Quepos. It’s going to be awesome.
MOVIE NIGHTS ARE BACK
Starting on Friday Dec 16th we are very happy to be bringing back our summer season of Friday night movies on the big screen which is 100% FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. This has become such a wonderful way for our community to become a part of this project and we hope that families will continue to come out, enjoy a movie under the stars, marvel at the new slip expansion and support our tenants and restaurants.
